Mike Ortega

Mike, Founder and Owner of H.I.I.T. Fitness Sacramento, is pleased to share his lifelong dream with the Sacramento community and beyond. At 13-years-old, he was introduced to amateur boxing and fought his first rounds two years later. As an international competitor, he is proud to have beat his opponent from the Filipino International Olympic Team. Ortega turned professional in 2008, picking up Mixed Martial Arts with Team Alpha Male in 2010.

 

Mike left the ring and after training and building his client relationships over 10-years, he opened H.I.I.T. Fitness in 2013. This East Sacramento facility is very personal to him. Throughout his life and the adversities he has conquered, Ortega has learned one thing, in fitness, you get back exactly what you put in.

 

Authentic in his mission, Ortega’s goal is to enhance his clients’ lifestyle, making them stronger inside and out. H.I.I.T. Fitness is his number one focus and his clients are considered family. On a personal note, he is a die-hard 49er fan and always fully caffeinated

Katie Snell

Trainer

Katie Snell is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer at HIIT Fitness specializing in functional training, plyometrics, speed and agility. Today Katie is survivor. She faced many obstacles that turned her life upside down, but the one thing that saved her, was her passion for fitness. Katie wants to help others find their inner strength and push them to live a healthier life, mentally and physically, through fitness. She will always push you to be greater and stronger than you were before. Together, you will achieve your maximal potential and become stronger than you ever thought possible.

Wendy Welsher

Trainer

Wendy Welsher is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer and the Office Manager at HIIT Fitness. Wendy has overcome a past full of unhealthy habits and has turned her life around by becoming a triathlete and trainer so that she can help inspire and lead others. She will help you build strength and confidence no matter what your current size or fitness level. She takes a fun and enjoyable approach to body positive fitness and is more than just a coach and instructor, as she’ll be right there to sweat it out with you on your journey to becoming a better you.
